A mother-daughter duo creating beauty and celebrating the good things in life.
Claire and Chrisalice, the creative minds behind Something to Savour, share a deep passion for art, beauty, and culture, creating a brand that embodies their love for celebrating the good things in life. Through culinary arts, interior design, and thoughtful hospitality, they have built a small family business that turns everyday moments into extraordinary experiences, blending their unique perspectives and talents into something truly special.
Claire’s perceptive eye for design and style is rooted in her upbringing within a family of artists. Growing up with her mother Chrisalice, Claire’s early exposure to art and fashion fostered her own creative journey. After a decade-long career as a beauty editor at Marie Claire and Refinery29, she co-founded the marketing agency Metta Society and was recognized by Forbes as one of The Next 1,000 honorees in 2021. Claire is currently renovating her mountain home, where she aims to create a timeless space infused with European influences that elegantly showcases the artistic legacy of her family. This project reflects her dedication to blending beauty, history, and personal expression into every facet of her life and work. Her multifaceted approach to life, whether through crafting delicious, wholesome recipes or curating stylish interiors, reflects her belief that beauty can be found in every moment.
Chrisalice, originally from Nice, France, brings her rich history as a photographer and artist to Something to Savour. Having worked with the world’s top fashion icons and photographers, including Guy Bourdin, she now resides in the mountains of Colorado, where she focuses on her true passion: sculpture. Chrisalice’s custom pet sculptures bring happiness to countless families, reflecting her talent for capturing the essence of her subjects with incredible attention to detail. Her love for beauty, from the elegance of high fashion to the natural charm of the mountains, has always been at the heart of her artistic expression.
Together, Claire and Chrisalice have built Something to Savour into more than a small family business—it's a celebration of beauty, artistry, and meaningful moments. It’s a joie de vivre.
